I think the directory is named 'snapshots' but confirm with Rackspace the exact name and location. Cloud Sites is definitely the way to go if you own several sites or plan on starting new ones as it takes only a couple of minutes to have a site provisioned and up and running. I started using the Cloud Files CDN for serving images and video from the sites which is nicely integrated into Cloud Sites. Response times are all decent – pretty much industry standard and havent noticed any downtime.
